issue.ZERO lit magazine

The Winter 2011-2012 issue.ZERO lit magazine just launched on 5th December 2011. 96 pages of poetry and stories in a beautiful book with a cover photo by Dylan Harris. You can buy copies by emailing me, David Barnes (db1066 AT gmail DOT com) or from Shakespeare & Company Bookshop, 37 rue de la Bûcherie, 75005 Paris. At €10 it's a beautiful Christmas present!

issue.ZERO is an upstart literary magazine created as an offshoot of the Anglo writing scene in Paris—a platform for poetry, satire, flash fiction, novel excerpts, and short and serialized stories.  Our three-person editorial staff is eclectic, to say the least, so our tastes run wide and deep.  For your best chance at being pulled from the pile and printed on our pages, choose examples of your work that are sharp, tight, as strong as whiskey, darkly visionary, caustically witty, perhaps even tormented to the point of being tormenting, since, above all, they should be moving and unclichéd.

Submit as many as three unpublished poems up to 60 lines each, flash fiction up to 600 words, and short stories, novel excerpts, and serialized stories up to 3,000 words long.
Send all submissions in a SINGLE DOCUMENT.
.doc or .rtf ONLY to AT gmail DOT com
Simultaneous submissions fine as long as you tell us asap if your work is accepted elsewhere.
issue.ZERO is currently only available as a printed magazine, not online.
